Familiars
Methanus used to have a familiar. He polymorphed it into a squid, but when we tried to cross the deep abyss, a water elemental jettisoned the lil' guy into the elemental plane of water--after being dashed upon the rocks and slain. Now his familiar is dead.
Companions and Cohorts
Methanus also had a brave wizard apprentice who once saved Methanus and Auzmator from the vile tentacles of an evil Mindflayer. Thankfully he was capable of using a wand of fireball Methanus entrusted in his care. Outside of that he mainly spent his time coming close to death.
