Lord Staedler
From Rathe
Lord Staedler is a noble of Cest. As an individual he is quite eccentric, bordering at times on the verge of madness it would seem. However, he seems to be a well connected individual and willing to shell out the shillings to pay for his whimsies. The only problem is getting the proper form of payment ....
To The Concripts, Staedler is important, because, although he offers really low pay, he has the leverage to get Nevyn and Sebol Lynchmire un-exiled from Cest.
He is interested in a fellow named Jauffrey of the Oaken, a druid near St. Marie. Any connection between the two are unknown at this point.
Most recently, Jauffrey of the Oaken was escorted to Lord Staedler's mansion, where Jauffrey referred to him as "Timothy."
Examples of Lunacy
- Turning rats invisible and then trying to breed said invisible rats. The only problem is they can't find each other so he powders the entire floor of his great hall with flour, then sits on the dinning table and then tracks their movements through the flour. To study the breeding habits of invisible rats, or so he says.
- His butler is a diminutive man whom he has ride around his mansion on a small chariot, pulled by a team of dogs.
- Flour is the only recognized currency within the mansion, at this point in time.
Possible Extended Family
Niro claims to be the adopted ward of the Staedler family. Whether this is true or is the catnip talking it really doesn't seem to matter.
