Campaign Events
The Rathe Campaign is beginning the spring semester of 2007! Revamps and new material is expected to slowly filter down and continue to flesh the world out.
Campaigns are having some switching around, with some groups retiring, others restarting with new characters, and a few continuing on with their current parties. Check it out at Metagamers.org!
Voodoo Dolls

- Mondays, the secondary day to play for when Feng has V-ball on Saturdays
The Conscripts
- Sundays, the primarily day to play, usually between 1-5 or 5-9, although sometimes for longer. For longer sessions, a small break is taken from 5-6 for David to drop/pick Laura up from work.
David's Thoughts
February 21st
Got a version of the Campaign Guide out in PDF format. Enough said elsewhere, so moving on.
Shout-outs for Birthdays: have one coming, let us know! Speaking of which, it's my little bro's b-day.
Anyhow, that's all for now. I just thought the campaign guide deserved specific due notice.

Ug have things been proceeding slowly. The racial timelines are finished and the Campaign Guide is coming along nicely enough. However, it still is incomplete and I hate releasing incomplete items.
I'll need to finish writing a list of thanks to everyone who has contributed to the campaign world, and I think I'll go ahead and release something like a beta version.
Other than that, things seem to be going well with the campaign, and the plots are picking up somewhat. I'm looking forward to things to come.
Btw, the constitution was ratified and we're having elections next week Thursday. Hoo-ray! =D

Some thoughts
Work has been really busy, and campaign creation has been fairly time consuming. The campaigns are going all right, but I haven't seen much activity over break. I've been considering options for this Spring, and want to try and bring things together in terms of the various parties that currently exist - although I'm not sure what the Icecream Bandits are up to.
It has been realtively easy - or easier - to keep my own plots together, but at times there hasn't been enough time to talk between the DMs. Most of us have had busy semeseters, either with work, school, or campaign creation, on my part. It'd be easiest to reconsider how parties are formed, but I don't know really how to get a good blend between one large party with many DMs versus the many small parties with many DMs. Ultimately, I suppose it would be useful to examine how games utilizing Story Tellers manage to keep things streamlined and roughly together. Perhaps table top just is too slow to accomodate such a method, and at times I can't wait for a blend between paper and electronic versions. That is, something that keeps the game meeting in person, but makes the rules portion quicker....
Anyhow, back to campaign creation. That has been going fairly well. Working with Jake has really helped bring some ideas to fruition, and has taken others from either bland or contrived to a better creative level. Oh, that reminds me, Jake's now co-campaign creator, or manager, or something like that. I've been posting in Current events what topic has been most on my mind recently. In addition to the planes, the solar system and racial histories have been a pressing matter. Unfortunately, most of this stuff is still in my notebook, although I have found typing them out usually is a better aid, that not.

This is Jake. My role is basically to help Dave make a better campaign world. You'll probably not see my hand in anything in game; I'm a bit of a flavor and style Nazi, so I'm helping keep the campaign's tone consistent and more original. Feel free to ask me any questions. My aim name is DonDiscounto.

Things are looking quite up beat. The other day I think I came across a mighty good idea for the Rathe Campaign. I am looking forward to talking to the other DMs about what things are to come. =D
As far as Metagamers is going, I'm feeling more positive about that as well. The Constitution is up for ratification tomorrow, and I really do hope people support it. Otherwise I guess my perspective on the club has been in error. Either way, I believe that we'll be on the right track after Thursday. As it turns out my time as Community Liasion expired in December since CL and CO only serve terms for the calendar year. What this means is that we will be holding elections once again very soon, at least for the interrum Officers until the elections for next year. I really do hope people jump on this chance, but I have yet to see.
Anyhow, that's all for now.
